New Philadelphia 41, Barberton 8: Three touchdowns by Johnson leads Quakers to win over Magics

Jamal Johnson scored on touchdown runs of 9, 15, and 3 yards for the host Quakers (3-0)

Friday night.
 
Accoring to the Canton Repository, New Philly dominated in all aspects of the game. On offense, the Quakers ran the ball 47 times for 297 yards and were 12-of-18 passing for an additional 134 yards.
 
The lone negative for the Quakers was 90 yards in penalties. The defense also controlled the Magics offense, holding the running game to just 66 yard on 31 carries and forced three turnovers.
 
The Magics (1-2) lone score of the game was a 17-yard run by Corey Fox in the fourth quarter.
 
Barberton will return to Sharkey Stadium next week to face Austintown Fitch.
